How long will my first visit be?
You can expect your first visit to be about 60 minutes on you first visit. You will undergo a complete evaluation so that you and your therapist can establish an appropriate plan of care. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to address insurance and billing processes with our office staff and complete new patient paperwork.
How long will my regular appointments be?
You can expect your regular visits to last between 45 and 60 minutes depending on the type of treatment your are receiving.
How often will I have physical therapy sessions?
A plan of care usually consists of 2 to 4 sessions per week. The more frequently we can work with you, the faster we can help you recover.
How do I schedule follow up appointments?
Appointments are made at the front desk with the office staff. Please be sure to check in and out with them each visit.
What makes our clinic different?
Our plan of care follows a process that prepares you to maintain your recovery and improve overall function. With the M.O.G. you will receive a complete exercise prescription to help keep you from returning to physical therapy in the future.
What to wear to physical therapy
During your treatments we will be stretching and exercising you. We recommend that you bring athletic clothing or other other loose fitting, unrestrictive clothing that you will be comfortable moving in. Your clothing should allow us to evaluate your area of injury so please dress accordingly. In regard to footwear, we suggest comfortable, supportive, closed toe shoes - sneakers would be ideal. Please contact us if you have any specific questions.
